Miracom completed ‘FAB1 Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Migration’ project for Dongbu Hitek, the company said on 12th. This project has been conducted to increase productivity through non-stop manufacturing system, stabilize quality management, and construct integrated environment between communication related data and system. Dongbu Hitek will change the dispersed structure of various systems by replacing obsolete systems into Miracom’s MESplus and manage all the production related data with MES. In addition, they will be able to cater to the diverse demands of the customers by creating environment easy for the interface between a new system and other systems as well as promptly process the work by simultaneously applying new requirements to all the equipments. Gapyong Kim, managing director of Donbu Hitek said that through continuous implementation of non-stop manufacturing environment, we expect to excel other leading companies overseas in productivity and quality stabilization. Miracom is now working on maximizing availability of the system and user convenience through research of other requirements from the user after the construction.
